Court Throws Out Kanu’s Bid for Transfer from Sokoto Custodial Centre
The Federal High Court has struck out a motion filed by the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, seeking his transfer from the Sokoto Correctional Centre to a custodial facility closer to the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Delivering the ruling, Justice James Omotosho held that the application was incompetent and improperly brought before the court.
The judge consequently struck out the motion.
