Tinubu Approves New Appointments in Education Sector
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved new appointments and reappointments across education agencies.

According to an official announcement, Prof. Modupe Adeola Adelabu has been appointed as Chairman of the Governing Board of the National Examinations Council (NECO).
In the same agency, Prof. Ibrahim Dantani Wushishi has been retained as Registrar and Chief Executive, ensuring continuity in the council’s administration.
In the technical education space, Prof. Babatunde Salako has been named Chairman of the Governing Board of the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).
Meanwhile, Prof. Idris M. Bugaje has been reappointed as Executive Secretary of NBTE for a second and final five-year term, reflecting confidence in his leadership.
Engr. Dr Bongfa Binfa was appointed Rector of the Federal Polytechnic Nyak-Shendam in Plateau State for a five-year tenure.
In the library and information services sector, Prof. Chinwe Veronica Anunobi has had her tenure renewed as Director and Chief Executive of the National Library of Nigeria for a final five-year term.
