Umahi Accuses Peter Obi of Silence on Monday Sit-at-Home, Challenges Obidients
Minister of Works, David Umahi, has criticised former Anambra State Governor and National Democratic Congress NDC presidential candidate, Peter Obi, accusing him of failing to speak out against the Monday sit-at-home order in the South-East.

Speaking during a recent interview, Umahi alleged that Obi has remained silent on an issue that continues to affect economic and social activities in the region.
“Peter Obi is not being honest with our people. The sit-at-home on Monday, he has not said anything about it. He just wants to be President by all means,” Umahi said.
The minister also challenged supporters of the former governor, popularly known as Obidients, to compare Obi’s performance in Anambra State with that of President Bola Tinubu during his tenure as Governor of Lagos State.
“I have challenged the Obidients to compare Tinubu’s achievements as the Governor of Lagos State and the achievements of Peter Obi as the Governor of Anambra State,” Umahi stated.
