Countdown Begins as Committee Visits Ogbonnaya Onu Polytechnic Ahead of 2026 Aba Trade Fair
The 2026 Aba International Trade Fair is in the pipeline.

Behind the scenes, a lot of work is ongoing to ensure the trade fair goes off with little or no hitches.
As part of these efforts, the Special Adviser to the Governor of Abia State on Investment Promotion and Public-Private Partnership, High Chief J. N. Green-Amakwe, who is the Co-Chairman of the Works/Logistics Sub-Committee, led members of the Works & Venue sub-committee to inspect the venue, Ogbonnaya Onu Polytechnic, Aba.
But first, they paid a courtesy call on the Rector, Engr. Dr Christopher Okoro Kalu.
It was a warm reception, as the subcommittee members received helpful insights and responses from the Rector and members of his management team.
Billed to span from 27th November to 6th December,2026, the trade fair will allow Abians and non-Abians to make useful purchases at cheaper rates.
But that’s not all. It will present the platform to connect with potential investors, buyers, suppliers, and strategic partners; provide immediate negotiation opportunities, enriching seminars, sponsorships and more.
Keep the date open: 27th November to 6th of December, 2026.
Venue: Ogbonnaya Onu Polytechnic, Aba.
