Shocking! Teacher Kidnaps 8 years old Pupil, Demands Ransom
The Ogun State Police Command has arrested a 25-year-old teacher, Odugbesan Samson, for allegedly kidnapping his 8-year-old pupil identified as Rasaq Akeem.
The Ogun State Police Command has arrested a 25-year-old teacher, Odugbesan Samson, for allegedly kidnapping his 8-year-old pupil identified as Rasaq Akeem.

The Ogun State spokesperson, Abimbola Oyeyemi, who confirmed the report revealed that Samson was the former teacher of the boy and kidnapped him when he went to school in Arifanla area of Akute in Ifo Local Government Area and hid him in an undisclosed location.

She added that the suspect later reached out to the boy’s mother through phone calls and demanded N200, 000 ransom. The victim’s mother, Fatimat Akeeb, reported the incident at Ajuwon Divisional Police Headquarters.
She said the Divisional Police Officer, Ajuwon Division, Andrew Akinseye, led a team of detectives to investigate the matter, who discovered the suspect’s hideout, lured him out with part payment of ransom before he was arrested. When interrogated, the suspect admitted to committing the crime but blamed it on the devil.
