NAFDAC Raids Warehouse, Seizes Unregistered Food Products
The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, NAFDAC, seized various unregistered items valued at N3,818,802,720 on Tuesday.
The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, NAFDAC, seized various unregistered items valued at N3,818,802,720 on Tuesday.
This was made known after its Investigation & Enforcement Directorate raided a warehouse at Apongbon Oke Arin Market, following a tip-off about the sale of unregistered food products.
It revealed that the facility has been placed on hold pending further investigation.
The warehouse management has been summoned for questioning, and appropriate sanctions will follow after investigations.
