Pastor Arrested for Impregnating Teenager, Charms Found at his Residence
A pastor was arrested in Benin, capital of the state of Edo, for allegedly impregnating a teenage girl. It was assembled that Pastor Ekene Samuel, the General Overseer of Gloryland Church, was arrested for impregnating and procuring an abortion for a teenage member of his church identified as Miracle. Pastor Ekene’s residence also found various charms.
Police said in December 2018, Pastor Ekene charmed the 17-year-old Miracle and had sex. Pastor Ekene was arrested after one reported missing Miracle by Henry Aikhuaman. Miracle was later found on a sick bed at the Graceville Medical Center along Bénin City’s Ewah Road.
Doctors at the hospital were said to have told police interrogators that Miracle was brought in by one Happy Johnson, a deaconess in Pastor Ekene’s Church.
