‘Married Men Who Deceive Young Girls Won’t Survive This Year’ – Pastor Nathaniel Bassey
Popular Nigerian gospel singer and pastor, Nathaniel Bassey, has warned married men involved in deceptive relationships with young women, as well as women who knowingly engage with married men that they won’t survive if they engage in such activities this year.

During a recent sermon, Pastor Bassey condemned what he described as the growing trend of marital infidelity, accusing some married men of deliberately misleading young women, sometimes going as far as sleeping with them while concealing their marital status.
“If you’re a married man and you go about deceiving young girls, leading them on. Some even go so far as to sleep with them. I place a demand on the grace of God upon my life. If you try it this year you won’t survive. Your shame will not be forgotten. It will be on social media. If you take a woman to a hotel, you lie, meanwhile, if you are married, you will not come out of that hotel.
If you like, take what I’m saying jokingly. You too, you are a lady. If you know that the man is married, you know in your heart that he is married, but because of greed, attention, or the allure of Brazilian wigs or hair, you want to carry a bag. If you try it, you won’t survive it.”
The clergyman did not limit his message to men alone. He also addressed women who knowingly enter relationships with married men, attributing such decisions to greed, materialism, and the desire for attention.
