ADC Crisis: Nafiu Gombe-Led Faction Stages Counter-Protest
A faction of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) escalated led by Nafiu Bala Gombe, its National Chairman staged a counter-protest in Nigeria’s capital, Abuja, on Thursday demanding that the faction led by David Mark stay away from its internal affairs.

The demonstration which also had the House of Representatives member Leke Abejide in attendance called on Senator David Mark-led leadership to “leave the ADC alone,” insisting that the party’s issues should be handled internally without outside influence.
Recall that Senator David Mark, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi, former Kano State Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso, former Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi and other political heavyweights protested at the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC on Wednesday against the non-recognition of the group.
