The Ooni of Ife has adopted a 17-year-old boy, Samuel who made a pencil drawing of him and stated why he decided to take up the boy’s expenses.
He stated that he was tagged to the drawing and had to invite the boy to the palace. On seeing the boy, he decided to adopt him and give him a better opportunity.
He further stated that he will discover other Samuels in the world and together, make the world a better place.
He wrote, “Ooni’s Palace,Enuwa Ile-Ife.
I got tagged on Twitter a few months back from a young man who made a brilliant pencil drawing of myself, in my appreciation for his art I invited him to my palace.”
“17 year old superlative Samuel who is just about to graduate from secondary school has been adopted by me, his fees till his tertiary education will be taken care of by me, and he will be gainfully employed right here in my palace.”
