Police Nab Armed Robber for Shooting and Snatching Tricycle
Police operatives attached to Oba division in Idemili South LGA of Anambra State have arrested an armed robber identified as Chukwuma Eze for snatching a tricycle.
Police operatives attached to Oba division in Idemili South LGA of Anambra State have arrested an armed robber identified as Chukwuma Eze for snatching a tricycle.
The 24-year-old indigene of Nachi Community in Udi LGA of Enugu State was nabbed following a distress call on the 12th of February, 2021.
The police spokesperson, Haruna Mohammed, revealed that the suspect allegedly shot a tricycle rider on his forehead and snatched the tricycle at gunpoint.
“The victim was rushed to the hospital for medical attention and is responding to treatment.
“Suspect has voluntarily confessed to the crime and exhibits recovered in his possession includes one locally made pistol and the snatched tricycle.
“Investigation is ongoing after which the suspect would be brought to justice.”
