Abia Bye-Election: INEC Speak on Readiness to Conduct Election
The Independent National Electoral Commission has stated that it was ready for the conduct of the Aba North/South Federal Constituency bye-election on the 27th of March, 2021.

INEC revealed that after it’s meeting on the 23rd of March, 2021, it totalled 498,390 registered voters with 609 polling units.

A statement issued on the 24th of March, 2021 disclosed that all the non-sensitive materials which will be used for the election have been delivered to all the registration areas.
It called on the people of Aba to come out and exercise their constitutional right and vote for the candidate whom they want to represent in the green chambers.
The election is conducted following the demise of Honourable Ossy Prestige on February, 2021.
