Nursing Student Suspended for Refusing to Welcome Buhari
A student of the College of Nursing and Midwifery in Maiduguri, Borno State has been suspended for failing to welcome President Muhammadu Buhari during his visit to the State.
A student of the College of Nursing and Midwifery in Maiduguri, Borno State has been suspended for failing to welcome President Muhammadu Buhari during his visit to the State.

In the letter of suspension shared on social media by human rights activists Inibehe Effiong revealed that the undisclosed student was suspended for one week which started counting from 21st June, 2021.
President Buhari visited Borno State on the 17th of June, 2021 to encourage the military who has been fighting Boko Haram insurgents in the State.
The student, however, was told to report back to the school on the 28th of June, 2021 with his/her parents or guardians.
