A notorious bandit leader, Yaron Mallam Illa in Isa Local Government Area of Sokoto State has been arrested by security forces on Tuesday.
The bandit was arrested in his tailoring shop in the metropolitan city of the State.
It was gathered that Yaron was among the bandits who attacked the military in Dama village and committed many atrocities.
In September 2021, bandits had attacked a joint military base code named “Burkusuma camp” in Dama village located in Sabon Birni local government area of Sokoto state, killing 15 persons.
The bandits had come in large numbers surrounding the camp while firing from all directions.
