Following the donation of N21 billion by the European Union to Nigeria to help in its fight against Coronavirus, Singer Yemi Alade has asked when the Federal Government plans to share fund.

The Federal Government led by President Muhammadu Buhari has promised that the it’s priority will be to do a cash transfers to Nigerains to mitigate the impact of social distancing in the country.
Yemi Alade further asked the agencies that will handle the weekly distribution to the entire populace of the country.

With the 50million Euros donated by EU(21 billionNaira), Cash transfers to mitigate the impact of social distancing measures was stated as PRIORITY. What agencies/NGO s are in charge of the weekly distribution?”

Recall that the country has been on lockdown due to the outbreak of Coronavirus and to curb it’s spread in the country.
