The Nigerian Union of Journalist has condemned Mr Femi Fani-Kayode over what it termed a ‘gangster-like’ behaviour on a journalist identified as Charles Eyo at a press conference in Calabar, Cross River State on Tuesday.

The journalist, Charles Eyo, with the Daily Trust asked FFK who was bankrolling his state project tour, the question sparked an outrage from FFK who said it was not a question but an assertion by the journalist.

NUJ disclosed that having being in the public terrain, FFK should have known better than trying to clamp down the journalist who was actually doing his job.

NUJ also expressed shock that the same person who used his social media platform to call out leaders and politicians over their unruly behaviour and oppression turned around to be the same people he castigates.
They condemned the assault and called for a retraction from Femi Fani Kayode.
