Police Arrest One Over Robbery in Anambra State
The Anambra State Police Command have arrested a robbery suspect, 29-year-old man identified as Christian Nwalieji following a distress call by one Ifejika Ogechi and Cheta Geoffrey who were returning from work.
The Anambra State Police Command have arrested a robbery suspect, 29-year-old man identified as Christian Nwalieji following a distress call by one Ifejika Ogechi and Cheta Geoffrey who were returning from work.

The victims stated that they were robbed of the sum of 9,000 by two men robbery gang who were armed with bottles and who operated with a tricycle at Okpuno Awka in Anambra State.
Police operatives immediately swung into action with the help of local vigilante and were able to arrest to Nwalieji who resides at City Supermarket Area Okpuno.
According to the Police Public Relation Officer in Anambra State, Haruna Mohammed, the suspect confessed to the crime and currently assisting the police to arrest other accomplices.
Also, the tricycle that was used in the operation has been recovered.
Haruna said, one Keke tricycle with registration number Anambra ZBL-121-VC used in committing the act was recovered as an exhibit. The Commissioner of Police John B.Abang, FDC warns Criminals in the State to jettison crime or relocate before the long arm of the law catch up with them.”
