Former President Chief Olusegun Obasanjo has called for the rectification of the 2023 Presidential election results stating that the election was not free and fair.

In a statement on Monday, he stated that the election process has been corrupted and the announced results are not the true reflection of the will of the people.
He called on the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission Professor Yakubu Mahmood to save Nigeria from the impending doom and disaster which is waiting to happen.
Chief Obasanjo stated that the BVAS has been manipulated or rendered inactive and pointed out that the errors of the last two days should be amended.
He also reminded President Muhammadu Buhari that he should leave a legacy of free and fair elections and should not compromise on it.
Meanwhile, earlier today, the agents of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and Labour Party staged a walkout from the National Collation Center in Abuja over the alleged manipulation of the election result.
