Police Order Arrest of Officers for Assaulting Nursing Mother
The Imo State Police Command have ordered the arrest of officers of the Command’s Anti kidnapping unit, (Tiger Base) who were shown in a viral video assaulting a nursing mother in Owerri on Thursday.
The Imo State Police Command have ordered the arrest of officers of the Command’s Anti kidnapping unit, (Tiger Base) who were shown in a viral video assaulting a nursing mother in Owerri on Thursday.

Speaking, ASP Okoye Henry, the Spokesperson of the command stated that the command is carrying out a comprehensive investigation to ascertain the remote facts of the case.
He tasked the Assistant Commissioner of Police in charge of the Command’s X-squad and Provost to ensure that the alleged officers are sanctioned by the Force’s extant laws if found culpable.

ASP Okoye also urged the nursing mother, Mrs. Ogechi Eze, to report to the Police Public Relations Department, Command Headquarters, Owerri, to assist in identifying the officers in the ongoing investigation.
Mrs Ogechi, her children, and her aged mother narrated how the anti-kidnapping squad assaulted her family over nothing.
