Lecturer Vs Student: UNIZIK Orders Full-Scale Investigation

The statement signed by Njelita Louis O, the Acting Head of Information, Public Relations and Protocol, on Tuesday urged all parties to remain calm.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Joseph I. Ikechebelu, emphasized that the University is committed to upholding decorum and so will ensure that appropriate sanctions and actions are taken based on the outcome of the investigation.
On Tuesday, a student named Precious attacked her lecturer, Dr. Okoye, after he interrupted her video recording. In a viral video, the lecturer can be heard saying, “Excuse me” before walking by. When he asked if she was his student and insisted that she delete the video, she bit him and tore his clothes.
