Ogah Felicitates SEDC Chairman Emeka Wogu on Birthday, Hails His Leadership and Vision

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, Dr. Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah, FCA, CON, has congratulated the Chairman of the South East Development Commission (SEDC), Dr. Emeka Wogu, PhD, CON, on the occasion of his birthday, describing him as a distinguished leader and an asset to Abia State and the nation.

In a congratulatory message issued on Thursday by the Abia Rejoice Movement on his behalf, Dr Ogah praised Dr Wogu as an accomplished administrator, seasoned technocrat, and visionary public servant whose commitment to good governance and regional development continues to inspire hope across the South East.

Dr Ogah noted that Dr Wogu’s appointment as Chairman of the SEDC was both well-deserved and symbolic of the quality of leadership Abia State has consistently contributed to national development. He said the role presents a defining opportunity to drive inclusive growth, fast-track critical infrastructure renewal, and promote sustainable economic development across the South East through strategic partnerships, institutional reforms, and people-focused policies.

According to Dr Ogah, Dr Wogu’s calm, pragmatic leadership style, intellectual depth, and outstanding record of public service have earned him widespread respect across political and professional divides, positioning him as a bridge-builder capable of fostering consensus in pursuit of a shared development agenda for the region.

Dr Ogah prayed for Dr Wogu’s continued good health, renewed strength, and divine wisdom, wishing him many more years of impactful service to Abia State, the South East, and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

He extended warm birthday wishes to the SEDC Chairman, describing him as “Nwadiala” and celebrating his enduring contributions to humanity.
