Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau Waves Flag To Celebrate LGBTQ2 In A Parade
Thousands of Canadians poured into Toronto streets to celebrate their distinctive sexual identity and were led by their Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau.
Trudeau proudly waved a flag that combined the rainbow flag of LGBTQ2 with the iconic maple of Canada as he went with Toronto Mayor John Tory in one of North America’s biggest pride parades.
LGBTQ2 stands for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, transsexual, queer, and 2-Spirit. 2-spirit refers to people who identify as having both a female and male spirit and is used by some Indigenous people to describe their sexual, gender or spiritual identity.
Trudeau who has been a vocal supporter of the gay people was present in the 2016 and 2018 pride parades.
