ALM Rejects Purported Sam Nworgu Adoption, Reaffirms Adinigwe Nwoke as Preferred 2027 Candidate

The Asa Liberation Movement (ALM) categorically rejects the purported adoption of Chief Sam Nworgu by certain suspended members acting outside the recognised authority and established decision-making process of the Movement.

ALM maintains that its preferred candidate for the 2027 Ukwa East/Ukwa West Federal Constituency House of Representatives election remains Engr. Adinigwe Ugochukwu Nwoke, whose selection followed the Movement’s recognised consultation and decision-making process.

The Movement condemns any attempt to portray a purported, financially induced endorsement as the collective position of ALM. No individual or group of suspended members has the authority to unilaterally overturn a decision reached through the Movement’s established process.

We therefore urge the general public, political stakeholders, and supporters of ALM to disregard any contrary claims and remain guided by the official position of the Movement.

Our decision stands. Our position remains unchanged.

Engr.Adinigwe Ugochukwu Nwoke remains ALM’s preferred candidate for 2027.
