Recall that Orji, had set his girlfriend, Miriam Alabi, ablaze on the 7th of December, 2019 in Ojo.
It was gathered that Orji, who had accused his girlfriend of infidelity, allegedly poured petrol all over her body and set her ablaze at his place of residence on the Army Post Service Housing Estate, opposite the Lagos State University, Ojo.
After Orji had perpetrated the crime, residents of the area apprehended him and rushed Alabi to hospital for treatment, but she died due to the severe burns she suffered.
