FCCPC Calls for Public Information Over Death of Lady in Lagos Hospital
The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission, FCCPC, has invited information from the public on the unfortunate death of Mrs Peju Ugboma on April, 25th 2021.
The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission, FCCPC, has invited information from the public on the unfortunate death of Mrs Peju Ugboma on April, 25th 2021.

According to friends and family, Mrs Peju Ugboma died after going for elective procedure at Premier Hospital, Victoria Island, Lagos State.

The Commission reiterated that it does not investigate or evaluate conduct to determine professionalism but rather, it investigates to evaluate whether service providers respect the rights of consumers and applicable standards of care as regards those rights.

The Commission advises restraint in discussion and pronouncement about the occurrence and investigation.
