Suspected Bandits Abduct 10 ABSU Students

Ten students of Abia State University, Uturu has been abducted by some persona suspected to be bandits along Ihube ABSU road.

The incident which took place between the hours of 5 and 6 pm on Saturday, the 18th day of September 2021 left so many persons making calls in a bid to reach their loved ones who were suspected to be in the vehicles.

It was gathered that on the crime scene, an Abia line bus conveying passengers to the school, a jeep and a Hilux which was said to be driven by a master’s energy staff was found empty.

However, the total number of the abducted persons are not yet known as investigation is still ongoing.

Meanwhile, the Abia State Government stated that no Abia State University student was abducted but rather, students of Maris Comprehensive School were injured in the process.
