Police Foil Homicide Attempt, Arrest Suspect
A 35-year-old medical recorder, Mustapha Tahiti has been arrested by Bauchi State Police Command for allegedly planning to kill his cousin and wife in Bauchi Town.

A 35-year-old medical recorder, Mustapha Tahiti has been arrested by Bauchi State Police Command for allegedly planning to kill his cousin and wife in Bauchi Town.
Mustapha who works with the maternity clinic Kofar Ran in Bauchi Town was arrested on March 6 following credible information.
According to the police spokesperson, SP Ahmed Mohammed Wakil on Thursday, the suspect admitted to the crime and revealed that he filled a syringe with an insecticide chemical he bought which he planned to forcefully administer to the victims.
He further revealed plans of carting away their valuables when he killed both his brother and his wife.

The syringe which was filled with insecticide chemicals has been recovered by the police as an exhibit.
On further investigation, it was uncovered that the suspect had grudges against the victim for marrying his late elder brother’s wife, whom he loved dearly and wanted to marry.
Unfortunately, the widow did not feel the same way. The suspect in his further confession, said he warned the victim several times not to marry the widow but he ignored.
