Facemask: Bikeman Murdered Over N50 Bribe

More information have been released on the bike man who was gunned down by a policeman in Orlu local government area in Imo State yesterday.

It was gathered that the policeman shot the bikeman for not giving him N50 bribe for not wearing a face mask.

According to an eyewitness, “The bikeman was stopped by the police officer who was on a stop-and-search duty and asked why he wasn’t wearing a face mask.The officer said that he did not want to hear any other thing that he (Okada) man has committed an offence and must pay for it. He stretched out his hand out to the Okada man to do the needful.But the Okada man refused but pleaded that he did not have any money with him and that he will do something next time. The policeman was not satisfied with the response and he cocked his gun and the next thing we heard was a gunshot.”
