Breaking News: Suspected killer officer arrested in Abia
The suspected killer-policeman, Sergeant Onyema Chinatu, attached to the Department of Operations State Headquarters, Umuahia, who allegedly murdered two persons in Aba and fled has been arrested by men of Abia State Police Command.

Following the shooting incident that led to the death of Ifeanyi Chidi Kalu and David Enyinnaya on Wednesday, 8th July, 2020, Abia State Government, through the state Commisioner for Information, Chief John Okiyi Kalu, called on the police authorities to ensure the arrest and prosecution of the fleeing policeman.
The State Commssioner of Police, Janet Agbede, who visited the immediate and extended families of the victims vowed to ensure that the officer who was said to have abandoned his gun at an undisclosed location and fled to an unknown destination would be arrested as, according her a crack team of investigators have been dispatched to hunt him down.

Seargant Onyema is expected to undergo orderly room trial and prosecuted for the murder of the two citizens who were unarmed at the time of the incident in Aba.
