JTF Nab Six Suspected Notorious Criminals

Six wanted criminals who have been terrorising Aiyetoro and its environs in Ajeromi Ifelodun Local Government in Ogun State have been nabbed by the civilian JTF on Sunday.

It was gathered that the timely intervention of the Navy OP-MESA and the Ajeromi Police team that accompanied the JTF, got the other fleeing members of the gang and also led a search operation in their houses.

However, one of the suspects, who is the son of a senior police officer, escaped. The community leaders have asked the father to produce his son immediately or a petition will be written against him on Monday, as the father has often been preventing his son from being arrested.

Items recovered include one local pistol, Plasma tv and some vital information. They also gave names of their fellow syndicates who support them from Ijora in Apapa-Iganmu LCDA under the Apapa LG.
