Abia Police Arrest Murder Suspect of ABSU Final Year Student

The Abia State Police Command have arrested a murder suspect, Emmanuel Victor who was caught on camera killing Emmanuel Uche, a 500-level student of Abia State University, Uturu in front of Miracle Lodge on the 11th of March, 2024.

The video which went viral showed how the suspect and others pursued and murdered the victim who staggered and begged for mercy.

According to the force’s Public Relations Officer, ASP Maureen Chinaka on Thursday, through credible intelligence, the suspect was apprehended at Isiukwuato LGA around 11 am on the 18th of April, 2024.

Meanwhile, the suspect has confessed to the crime and is currently in lawful custody and will be charged in court.

Recall that the late Emmanuel Uche was killed during a cult clash at the University just as he finished his final examination.
