Nurse Lies to Mother, Sells Newborn Baby for N350,000

After lying to the new mother that she had a stillborn in Lagos, a nurse was arrested for selling a newborn baby for N350,000. At Trinity Clinic, along with Meiran Rd, Ifako-Ijaiye and the girl, the incident was sold to a lady living in Ajah.

It was said that the nurse told the parents that she had already helped them bury the child, but trouble began as a family member insisted on seeing the corpse.

Police officers were later involved and the suspect confessed to selling the baby during the interrogation and took them to the buyer’s house yesterday where the girl was picked up. The culprits have been detained at the police station in Meiran since then.
