The Abia State police command has reiterated that it will not fold its hands to any group or persons who try to truncate the existing peace in the State.
In a press release made available to our reporter, it stated that it is not against any group or individual embarking on a protest as it is their constitutional right but the protest should be carried out in line with the extant provisions of the Constitution.
It stated this because of the incessant protest that has been rocking the state in recent times.
The Abia State Government in its own stated that it runs a very democratic state and so will not stop anyone from protesting but it should be done within the ambit of the law.
