A student has been harassed by Federal SARS officials in Lagos for no crime. The student, Dotun, was made to transfer all his money, which is #15,000 to them or they will shoot him.
According to Dotun, he pleaded with them but it was of no use as they told him that that was the only way to escape them and if he argues, he will be shot.
He had no option but to transfer all his money to them and they let him go.

Yesterday evening was terrible, I was on the bike after Ibadan garage (Ijebu ode) and as I was having a conversation with the bike man about the issue of NEPA strike then a huge man stopped with a big stick then told me to get down from the bike and he told the bike man to get-go. I was shocked and surprised then he showed me his ID card which states he’s a federal SARS official. Then I was so scared that their other men came out of a bus and started threatening me that they have been searching for me for two weeks now that I’m a popular online fraudster.
In Ijebu, I was scared and told them I was a student and showed them through my phone my credentials that states that I’m a student of Tai Solarin University of education but all my explanation were mere talk that they threatened to shoot me if I don’t show them my phone which I did obediently and they saw I had a lot of followers and said I was using those followers to scam people and I told them I was an online PR and that was what I do to earn money to fend in school but they didn’t want to listen that they cracked the gun and said I’d be moved to their office.
I was so scared that they said the only thing that could save me was if I show them all the money in my acct which I said no politely then one of the officials cracked the gun again and said he’d shoot until I begged and ask then what they want and they said they wanted all the money in my account I pleaded and told them this money was for the remaining days of the year and that I’m in school and all sort they didn’t listen and told me to do as I was told. To cut the long story short I sent them 15k from my account which is a huge amount for me coz I hustle hard and I had to run lil promotions for this. Please y’all help me tag the rightful people, I need justice 😭😭🙏 I really don’t know how I’d live for the remaining days of December 😭
