The Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, PEPT, has denied setting a date for the judgment between the Labour Party, its Presidential candidate Peter Obi against the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, President Bola Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, and the All Progressive Congress, APC.
Speaking to the Whistler on Monday, the Secretary of the PEPC panel, Barrister Josephine J. Ekperobe stated that no date has been fixed by the Tribunal and called the report fake news.
“No date yet,” the official replied to THE WHISTLER‘s inquiry.
On Monday, there were speculations that the Tribunal had set 16 September 2023 as the date for the tribunal judgment.
