A man has been reportedly beaten by the army sergeants of the 145 Battalion for refusing to collect money from commuters.
A man has been reportedly beaten by the army sergeants of the 145 Battalion for refusing to collect money from commuters.

The man was beaten by two soldiers identified as Ebi Enuyaibi and Lance Corporal Isaac along the Enugu-Umuahia expressway on Friday.

The man whose head was bleeding stated that the soldiers told him to stand by the roadside and collect money from commuters after which he will remit to them.

But his refusal made them pounce on him for daring to refuse.
