Police Nab Robbery Suspect with Arms and Ammunition

Two suspected armed robbers, Joshua Oweke and Nicolas Binakeye were arrested by operatives of Delta State Police Command on the 8th of December 2022 over possession of illegal pistols.

Oweke who hails Gbulebu community in Edo State and Binakeye of first road Akenfa in Bayelsa State was arrested around 4: 30 pm on a fateful day.

The operatives conducted a search on an intercepted black GLK Mercedez Benz SUV conveying the suspects and recovered one Barreta pistol and one locally made revolver pistol.

Similarly, the operatives on the 6th of December 2022, arrested one Victoria Willams (female) and two others all from the Boboroku community in Jesse for unlawfully dealing in the sales of cartridges to cultists and armed robbers who were hibernating in the Boboroku community Jesse where they carry out their nefarious activities.

Through an intelligent gathering, the operatives stormed the hideout at Boboroku Jesse Ethiope-West LGA and recovered one hundred and thirty (130) live cartridges.
