The Nigeria Labour Congress has announced a nationwide strike following the fuel subsidy removal which was announced by President Bola Tinubu during his inaugural speech.
The Nigeria Labour Congress has announced a nationwide strike following the fuel subsidy removal which was announced by President Bola Tinubu during his inaugural speech.

It announced the strike which commences next week Wednesday after a meeting of its National Executive Council (NEC) in Abuja.
The NEC comprises all Presidents, General Secretaries, Treasurers of all NLC’s affiliate unions; State Chairpersons and Secretaries of the NLC State Councils, Chairperson of the NLC Youth Committee, and members of the National Administrative Council (NAC).
There has been a price hike in petrol between five hundred and thirty naira to seven hundred nairas per liter in most petrol stations in the country.
