The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has extended the ongoing registration for Direct Entry applicants by two weeks to enable all prospective candidates to participate in the process.
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has extended the ongoing registration for Direct Entry applicants by two weeks to enable all prospective candidates to participate in the process.

JAMB Public Communication Advisor (PCA), Dr Fabian Benjamin, has released a statement stating that the deadline for the Direct Entry Registration has been extended. The extension became necessary as candidates faced challenges while going through some of the security measures for screening put in place.
These measures were put in place to arrest the rampant and embarrassing cases of fake A’level certificates being paraded by some Direct Entry candidates.

The Board apologized for the inconvenience caused to DE candidates and pledged to improve the process to be more user-friendly.
The 2024 Direct Entry registration exercise, which began on 28th February 2024, will now end on 11th April 2024 due to the recent development.
