Torch of Unity Visits ASCETA Amid Excitement and Warm Reception

The Torch Run Movement continued its statewide tour on Wednesday as the Torch of Unity arrived at the Abia State College of Education (Technical), Arochukwu (ASCETA), drawing a wave of excitement across the institution.

Pupils from ASCETA’s primary and secondary school sections lined up energetically at the main gate to welcome the team, turning the event into a colourful and lively spectacle.

The Provost, Dr Idowu Eluwa, alongside members of the management team, received the delegation with enthusiasm. In her remarks, Dr Eluwa expressed the institution’s readiness for the upcoming sports fiesta, noting that ASCETA is brimming with potential competitors.

She emphasised her confidence that the forthcoming competition will spotlight outstanding talents from the college, adding that the torch’s visit has further inspired students and staff as they prepare for the event.
