Kwankwaso Receives ADC Membership Card as He Officially Defects
Former Kano State Governor and Senator, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has officially joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC), receiving his party membership card on Monday in Kano amid widespread excitement.

Kwankwaso joined the ADC from his New Nigeria Peoples Party NNPP alongside his Kwakwansiya movement in Kano State a day after resigning his membership.
Enthusiastic residents flooded the streets of Kano, chanting “Obi–Kwankwaso!, Obi–Kwankwaso!” as Peter Obi arrived in the state ahead of the high-profile defection ceremony.
Meanwhile, top ADC figures also converged in Kano include the party’s National Chairman, David Mark, former Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, former Kano Deputy Governor Aminu Abdulsalam, Yusuf Gawuna, Rufai Hanga, and other dignitaries.
