Bopdaddychallenge: Falz Writes NIS Over ‘Punitive’ Deployment of Officers, NIS Responds

The Nigerian Immigration Service has countered the claim made by Barr. Folarin Falana popularly known as Falz for stating that they deployed the five female soldiers who participated in his Bop Daddy video challenge as punitive.

Falz wrote a letter to the immigration service asking why the five female personnel were deployed immediately after the challenge which was against the rule of any public service.

He also stated that the letter which was dated 12th May, 2020 stated that the officers should be deployed at no cost to the service and they were also deployed to the remote country even though there were no inter state travel due to the pandemic.

Recall the five ladies who participated in the Bop Daddy challenge where they transformed from their official outfit to dinner outfits.

The video incurred the wrath of the force and made them to be deployed to remote areas of Bornu State.

The Immigration Service through their social media responded that it is the practice of the force to deploy officers and has zero tolerance for indiscipline among members.

The force further stated that anything done outside the rules and regulations of the service will attract a punishment.
