The Nasarawa State Government has asked principals and proprietors to release students and pupils to their parents and guardians over the increased threats in Abuja and its environs.
A letter signed by the Honourable Commissioner for Education, Hajiya Fatu Jimaita Sabo on Wednesday revealed that measures have been taken by the government to safeguard students writing their WAEC and NECO examinations.
It also revealed that the directive includes all public and private schools in the State.
The Federal Government has also directed all Unity Colleges in Abuja to evacuate students following an attack on the Nigeria law school in Abuja.
The Nigeria Police Force called on residents of Abuja to synergise with the Police and provide information when a suspicious movement is noticed.
