Thugs Harass, Beat Up Lady for Refusing to Vote Candidate

A lady identified as Uzodinma Lucy Ogodo has been beaten and injured by the thugs for refusing to vote for the candidate of the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, in Ebonyi State, Francis Nwifuru.

Miss Uzodinma revealed that the thugs who surrounded her insisted that she votes for their candidate but she was beaten and her eyes injured when she refused to adhere to their command and they threatened to tear her ballot papers.

“Today I went to my polling unit to perform my civic duty…APC thugs followed me to my polling booth insisting I vote APC, of course, I refused and voted for my preferred candidate after much struggle to tear my ballot paper, in Infront of the already bought over security men and INEC staff.

Afterward, my clothes were torn and I got beaten up, I’m alive and well, Thank God
They threatened to kill me when they see me in town, well na God gets all man’s life and we all die at some point, but while I live, nobody will bully me into supporting evil I will fight with the last drop of my blood!

Meanwhile, actress Kate Henshaw and Chioma Chukwuka have been harassed by thugs in their polling unit in Lagos State by thugs loyal to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

Other residents are currently being flogged by thugs who trooped into the polling units to insist that they vote for Governor Sanwo-Olu after the Chairman of NURTW Musiliu ‘MC Oluomo’ Akinsanya threatened violence on Igbos who do not wish to vote for APC.

A threat, that the Police Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Prince Olumuyiwa Adejobi dismissed on ChannelsTV on Friday as ‘mere words.’
