The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has assured that through constant prayers aimed at seeking God’s intervention, Akwa Ibom was in for a glorious future.
Extolling the supernatural powers of God, Pastor Adeboye commended Governor Umo Eno for always leading the people to seek God’s intervention in the State.
The renowned Clergy spoke at the International Worship Centre, Uyo, when he ministered during the ongoing 3-day Prayer Summit to usher in the Governor’s second year in office.
The programme, organised by the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Akwa Ibom chapter in partnership with Fathers-in Faith for Good Governance tagged ‘ From Glory to Glory’, is aimed at seeking the face of God as Pastor Umo Eno begins his second year in office.
Adeboye who said that the Summit was quite apt added “when you have a Governor who starts the year with prayers, the future is glorious and guaranteed.”
He emphasized on the need for Christians to always acknowledge God with prayers and Thanksgiving and commit their ways to him.
He said Christians should always pray especially, when all is going well, before planing, while executing the plan, and to be specific on areas of need when praying to God.
The summit also featured prominent song ministers and pastors from within and outside the State.
In attendance on the first day of the summit was the state Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, who led other public officers, stakeholders, the general public as well as religious leaders to the summit.
