The Borno State Police has declared a 24-hour curfew in the State following a security chaos which arose from the nationwide protest against #badgovernanceinNigeria.
A protester was allegedly shot by the Police and thrown a canister as protesters took over the State capital in protest against hunger and the high cost of living.
Announcing the curfew, the Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Nahum Kenneth Daso said the curfew is in immediate effect.
