Traders Foil Kidnap Attempt, Police Arrests Woman
The Police at Umuoparaozara Olokoro in Umuahia South LGA of Abia State have arrested a lady who refused to give her name for allegedly attempting to kidnap two brothers on Tuesday.

It was gathered that the woman came into their house, wore them their clothes and wore the cloth of their mother to deceive people around.
According to the village chairman of Umuoparaozara, Mr Livinus Uzoanya told Vision Africa Radio correspondent that it was traders at the village square that caught the suspect.
Mr Uzoanya further revealed that another lady who claimed to be a journalist but could not identity herself was also arrested by police, making them two, as they suspected that both ladies were collaborators in the act.
He further disclosed that a pastor told the villagers that the lady came to his church on Monday without saying any word to them, but when asked to leave, she decided to hang around the village till Tuesday when she took the action.
According to Umuooaraozara Chairman and other village leaders, the police from Ubakala division was invited to assist control the crowd that besieged the village square to avoid jungle justice.
