A young Nigerian footballer has been charged with assault after a lady, Krystal Mission, 21, was allegedly attacked outside a south London nightclub on New Year’s Day.
Andrew Akingbaje, 23, was charged with actual bodily harm following the alleged assault outside Lotus nightclub, on Clapham High Street, at 4 am on Tuesday.
He has also been charged with two counts of assault by beating against two other women who were also allegedly attacked during the same incident. A video of the alleged violence has been widely shared on social media.
