Uyo: Journalists Boycotts FFK’s Press Conference
The Akwa Ibom State chapter of the Nigerian Union of Journalist (NUJ) have directed it’s members to boycott the press conference organised for ex-minister of Aviation Femi Fani Kayode.

The Akwa Ibom State chapter of the Nigerian Union of Journalist (NUJ) have directed it’s members to boycott the press conference organised for ex-minister of Aviation Femi Fani Kayode.
Recall that Femi Fani Kayode, in a state project tour, abused a Daily Trust journalist, Charles Eyo, who asked who was bankrolling him in the state project tour in Cross River State.
FFK, as popularly known, took offence at the question and abused the journalist who apologised.
Meanwhile, in a statement made available to journalists on Friday, the chapter told journalist not to attend FFK’s organised press conference.
FFK said, “I could see from your face before you got here, how stupid you are. Don’t ever talk to me like that. Who do you think you’re talking to? Bankroll who?
“You think I am one of those ones you… from who, when, how? You have a small mind, a very small mind. Don’t judge me by your own standards,” he had said.
FFK, however, apologized for calling the journalist ‘stupid’ but stated that the question was an assertion.
Other reports also came from journalists who have had interactions with stated that he was a very intolerant man.
