Four men have been arrested for using children to beg for alms in traffic after injecting them with a substance in Lagos State.
A post by Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer on Saturday revealed that the men take the minors from the village to the city.
Afterwards, get a medical doctor who injects them with substances that makes their stomach swells outrageously and then parade them in road traffic as critically ill to get alms from motorists and road users.
It was also gathered that the stomach deflates after some hours.
